I’m Tom Weaver, and I'm proud to introduce Walk It Off: Cardiff Men’s Walk & Talk, a new way for men to get the support, space, and community they need.
A Bit of My Story
Before I became a therapist and coach, I spent years working in the construction industry an environment where showing vulnerability wasn’t an option. The culture was simple: work hard, keep your head down, and don’t talk about how you feel. For a long time, I followed those rules, believing that was what strength looked like. But over time, I realised real strength isn’t pretending you're fine. It’s having the courage to reach out, to change, and to connect.
Through my own experiences and later, through my professional work in men’s mental health in Cardiff, I learned just how powerful it is when men are given a safe, supportive space to be real. That’s why I created Walk It Off.
Why We Need a Men’s Support Group in Cardiff
Today, more men than ever are facing quiet struggles stress, anxiety, loneliness, burnout often behind closed doors. And too often, there’s no easy place to turn. Traditional therapy or formal support groups aren’t right for everyone.

How to Join Walk It Off: Cardiff Men’s Walk & Talk
Where: Local Cardiff parks and nature trails (location shared each month)
When: Once a month 60 minutes of relaxed walking and optional chatting
