Welcome to Beam Therapy. By booking a session or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Appointments & Cancellations

All appointments must be booked in advance through our online booking system or by contacting us directly.

We understand that life happens, and you may occasionally need to change your plans. However, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

If less than 24 hours' notice is given, or if you do not attend your appointment, the full session fee will be charged, and the appointment cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

This policy ensures fairness to all clients and allows us to offer the time slot to someone else in need.
2. Online Courses & Programmes

Access to online courses is provided via a secure platform upon purchase.

Due to the nature of digital content, we do not offer refunds for any online courses or self-guided programmes once access has been granted.

Please ensure you are ready to commit before enrolling. If you're unsure whether a course is right for you, feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to guide you.
3. Digital Products

All digital products (e.g. therapy toolkits, downloads, audio files) are non-refundable.

Once purchased, you will receive immediate access/download links, and as such, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges.
4. Disclaimer

Beam Therapy services are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. While our work can support emotional and mental wellbeing, we do not diagnose conditions or offer medical treatment.

By engaging in our services, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own mental health and wellbeing, and will seek appropriate professional support if required.

Session notes are stored in a password-encrypted note-taking application and are only accessible by your therapist.

Any personal information submitted via our website or forms is protected using secure platforms.

We do not share your information with third parties unless legally required to do so (e.g. where there is risk of harm to yourself or others, or where disclosure is required by law).

We maintain high standards of data protection and confidentiality in accordance with professional therapy codes of conduct.
3. Confidentiality in Therapy
Everything you share during sessions is treated with the strictest confidence. The only exceptions where confidentiality may be broken are:

If we believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else

If we are required to share information by law (e.g. in criminal investigations or safeguarding concerns)

If you provide written consent for information to be shared (e.g. with a GP or other professional)

Refund Details:

Refunds are issued to the same card or payment method used at purchase.

You will be refunded the full amount paid for the course.

Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
